# New phone or lost phone

Install the Guardian app on the other phone and sign in with the same account. Your paired TVs and settings carry over, because nothing is stored only on your phone.

## Steps

1. **Install the Guardian app** on the new phone from the [App Store](https://apps.apple.com/app/id6757911100) or [Google Play](https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=io.middlepoint.tvcp.guard).
2. **Sign in with the same account** you used before: **Continue with Google**, **Continue with Apple** or **Continue with email**. Use the same method as last time.
3. **Check your TVs.** They appear on the Home screen with your rules.
4. **If the app asks you to subscribe,** open the plans screen and tap **Restore purchases**. See [The app says I don't have a subscription](https://tvcp.app/help/restore-purchases/).

## Forgot your password?

On the sign-in screen, tap **Forgot password?** and enter your email. You'll get a link to reset it.

**Do I need to pair my TVs again?**
No. Your TVs are linked to your account, so they show up as soon as you sign in.

**Can I move from iPhone to Android, or the other way?**
Your TVs and settings carry over either way. Your subscription stays with the store you bought it from: an App Store subscription is managed in your Apple account, a Google Play one in your Google account.
