# Change your plan: more TVs, fewer TVs, or yearly

In the Guardian app, open Settings, then under Subscription tap Change plan to pick a plan with more or fewer TVs, or Upgrade to yearly to switch from monthly. The app shows what you pay today and from when before you confirm.

## Steps

1. **Open Settings.** In the Guardian app, tap the round button with your initials at the top of the Home screen.
2. **Find Subscription.** It shows your **Current plan**.
3. **Tap Change plan.** **Change your plan** opens, with **Monthly** and **Yearly** tabs and a plan for each number of TVs.
4. **Pick the plan you want.** The app shows what you pay today and what you pay from your next renewal.
5. **Confirm** with the button (**Upgrade to 3 TVs**, for example, or **Switch to 1 TV**), then confirm with Apple or Google.

## What you pay

- **More TVs:** the change happens right away. On Android you pay the difference for the rest of the current period today. On iPhone you pay the new price today, minus a refund for the unused part of your current plan, and a new billing period starts.
- **Fewer TVs:** nothing to pay today. You keep all your TVs until your plan renews, and the app shows what happens after that before you confirm.
- **During the free trial:** nothing to pay today. Your trial carries on with the new plan.

## Switch from monthly to yearly

Under **Subscription**, tap **Upgrade to yearly**. The app shows the yearly price and what you save. During a free trial you keep the trial and start paying yearly when it ends.

## Good to know

- If you tap **Add a TV** and your plan is full, the app offers a bigger plan straight away: **Upgrade your plan to add more TVs**. You can also remove a TV instead. See [Remove a TV](https://tvcp.app/help/remove-a-tv/).
- On iPhone, if the app says **Plans for more TVs are coming to iPhone shortly**, you can't change the number of TVs yet, and nothing changes on your current plan.
- Plans go up to 5 TVs. If you need more, the app offers **Contact us**.
